About This Game Explore five different worlds, fight their monstrous inhabitants and try to survive and find an ancient artifact to save the world from destruction. For every game session, the game will create new environments full of challenges and surprises, populated with monsters and ancient magical artifacts. There are eight different player classes, each one designed with a unique playing style. Some of them are combat-focused, others have access to magic spells in 4 different schools of magic while others must rely on their special martial skills to survive. As you advance through the game, you will find over 40 different types of monsters with distinct skills and abilities, you will be able to charm them using magic spells and make them join your quest. By using some of the ancient magic found in the dungeon, you can unlock more advanced forms of their powers and skills. The game keeps track of your adventures on its online server, sharing the in-game events with your friends in real time, maintaining a leaderboard of the most successful heroes as well as a graveyard of memorable characters which you can share in social media. Ananias is a classic turn-based "roguelike" adapted for modern media, it removes the cumbersome movement and complex commands while keeping all the features from the genre that make the games fun and enjoyable: turn-based combat, random level generation, and long term item strategy. These are among the things that make every adventure into the game unforgettable. 7aa9394dea Title: Ananias RoguelikeGenre: Indie, RPG, StrategyDeveloper:Slashware InteractivePublisher:Slashware InteractiveRelease Date: 9 Feb, 2017 Ananias Roguelike Patch 8 Download Pc Great game! Highly addictive. Got killed by a floating eye without being able to do anything. I'm coming back for you son of a *****!!. Turn based rougelike with couple interesting classes and mechanics, also has great documentation on how to do different things such as alchemy.. Mechanics pretty good. But the game is lacking animations. If you played Pixel Dungeon, you'll probably like this one too.. A very easy to pick up and fun roguelike. The interface is straightforward deceptively easy. However, if you actually want to progress and get good at the game, you need to dig into the manual and read up, just like the old school games it was inspired by. So you can really choose how much you want to think when you play it.The multiple character classes, alchemy, and magic add a tremendous amount to the replay value for those willing to explore them. It's not a easy, but then again, I argue that roguelikes shouldn't be. ;). A good middle-ground Roguelike with an excellent User Interface. While it's not incorrect to call it a simplified Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, it also isn't simplified at the cost of fun or depth.Ananias is extemely accessible and quick to get started with an interface that is clear, concise and doesn't leave you with a lot of questions as to how the game operates. You'll be playing in seconds.Procedural dungeons and multiple classes should provide a decent amount of replayability. Online leaderboards let you compare your overall achievements with a community. This is a roguelike that tried to streamline the process of playing by allowing quicker movement between rooms whenever enemies aren't present. While leveling is streamlined as well and based simply on making it to the next foor, players still have a wealth of weapons, equipment, familiars(pets), bandages mixable potions and more to give more player-choice. Leveling-up also comes with a choice of how one wishes to build their character as you delve deeper into the dungeon. For $4.99US, I think this is a fun contribution to the roguelike genre that does a great job of being a little simpler than a "hardcore" roguelike, but not at the expense of fun - and it still has some welcome RPG-like depth You can see my casual video review on YouTube: https:\/\/youtu.be\/pCN2l1i-Vdw. Simple, fun roguelike with multiple classes and a single ally.. A simple to pick-up, yet difficult to master, game that follows the origins of the rogue-like genre. It is a fun little game that you play during your lunch hour, or when you want to wind down for the day. Lots of replay ability as you are able to play with many different classes. Just one more level :D. A very easy to pick up and fun roguelike. The interface is straightforward deceptively easy. It's not a easy, but then again, I argue that roguelikes shouldn't be. ;). Ananias is a great Roguelike, blending classic gameplay with a modern interface. Originally conceived back in 2014 on the "7DRL Challenge", an event for developers to make a roguelike game in seven days, Ananias became so much more as the years passed by, and it certainly deserves to be in your library if you're a fan of this kind of game. I have played Ananias for the first time on my smartphone, but it's way more comfortable (to me, at least) on the desktop. You can play the free version on your browser if you wish to know how it is on PC: http:\/\/ananiasgame.com\/play The Steam version is the best one if you want all classes unlocked and the best price, since it's localized according to your country, and not sold with a dollar tag. The game itself is very balanced and it's a joy to play, with responsive controls, an awesome and intimist soundtrack and a lot of secrets to discover. I love how the procedural generation is handled here - it really will surprise you from time to time. Another game I like a lot on this genre is the - excellent - Dungeons of Dredmor (DoD), and despite my love for that game, DoD is more or less the same on some ways. Ananias, on the other hand, is unpredictable. It can throw some very high level monsters at you, put a dress to loot on the floor (even if you're playing with a male character), and make every run feel really unique - it's a real Pandora's Box, and it's gorgeous. All in all, you can't beat this price for an awesome roguelike. Play the free version (on browser or on your smartphone) and if you like the game, buy it to support this awesome project. See you in the depths of the dungeons!
